Chaos and Comedy Shine: HBT Drama Club’s Hilarious Take on 'When Bad Things Happen to Good Actors'
On March 14th and 15th , the HBT Drama Club hit the stage to perform their spring drama, "When Bad Things Happen to Good Actors." The students performed this one act comedy, which is about a school production of The Wizard of Oz, where nothing can seem to go right. In the show, Dorothy, played by Isabella Liu, tries valiantly to keep the show together while facing challenges like a Scarecrow who won't stop singing (Norah Zhang,) a Lion who performs lines from a different show (Bradley Zelniker,) a Tin Man who never can't figure out when to come on stage (Freddie DaSilva) and a sound tech who refuses to play the correct sound cues (Tian Qin.) Missing props, fire alarm interruptions, and even a Mom interrupting the show from the audience (Aavya Tayal) left the audience laughing out loud. Congratulations to all the members of Drama Club on an outstanding performance!
