HBT Science Olympiad Team Excels at State Competition with Outstanding Results
The HBT Science Olympiad team had an incredibly successful weekend in Syracuse. Competing at the State level against 39 of New York's top teams on April 24th and 25th, the HBT Science Olympiad team achieved an impressive 7th place overall, earning top ten medals in more than half of the events. Their achievements included:
1st place in Circuit Lab
2nd place in Experimental Design
5th place in Crime Busters
6th place in Scrambler
7th place in Hovercraft, Machines, Metric Mastery, Remote Sensing, and Water Quality
8th place in Potions and Poisons
10th place in Mission Possible and Solar Systems
Coaches Mr. Holtzman and Ms. Herbold are exceptionally proud of the team's performance at the State competition and commend all Science Olympiad club members for their dedication and pursuit of excellence throughout the season.
